Through the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE), we hope to learn more about the origin of matter and if neutrinos are the reason everything is made of matter instead of anti-matter. We also hope to learn more about proton decay and perhaps see the birth of a neutron star or black hole. The University of Iowa team is among the 1,000+ scientists all over the world collaborating on this experiment.
